How We Started
Lu&Lo Activewear began with two sisters who took different paths and decided to merge them into something meaningful.
With nearly a decade between us, our experiences were shaped by different times, different influences, and different versions of Albanian history. Yet, what deeply connects us is a mutual respect, admiration for each other’s strength, and the enduring love that only sisters can understand.
Luli built her career in fashion and textiles. She understands fabric, fit, and how clothing can transform how a person feels. Lola thrives on movement and is passionate about how physical activity shapes our lives and well-being. For years, we cheered each other on from a distance. Then one day, we saw an opportunity to create something important together: clothing that supports movement, designed by women who know what it’s like to want both style and function.
Lu&Lo stands for Luli and Lola – our childhood nicknames, a simple tribute to the connection that shaped our story.
We thoughtfully design every piece ourselves, focusing on comfort, performance, and aesthetics that feel modern but wearable. And we make everything right here in Albania, the home country we love for its vibrant energy, striking contrast, and chaotic beauty. With over two decades of tailoring expertise in our family, every garment reflects our dedication to quality and community. Keeping production local matters deeply to us; it’s our way of staying connected to our roots and actively supporting Albanian talent, craftsmanship, and community.
